From the Deputy Principal - Mr Caudwell
Greetings to our Bellmere Community,
NAPLAN
NAPLAN testing has finished for another year. Overall, the testing implementation went quite well and students showed that they were determined to achieve in completing the tests. Results will be published in the coming months.
My appreciation goes out to the staff (teachers and teacher aides) who supported students during this time.
High School Enrolment for 2026
I’m getting in early with a message for the current Year 6 cohort parents to start considering commencing the enrolment process with their catchment/chosen high school. Schools need this data as early as possible so they can consider workforce planning.
If you know where your child will be attending, please reach out to them to enquire about an enrolment pack and application process. If you are unsure as to where your child will attend high school, please consider this over the coming month or so. If you need support, contact our school office.
Thank you for Term 1
What a term it has been! But we have almost made it to the end.
Thank you for working with us to support your children’s learning and engagement. Some key reminders about Term 2:
- Please send your child to school EVERY DAY (unless they are unwell)
- iPads are a useful tool for learning and must be kept updated with the right apps
- Absences should be sent through as a QParents (app) notification – this is the most convenient and easy way to let the school know of an absence. If you don’t have access to QParents, please contact our front office
- Appropriate behaviour and conduct is the expectation we hold of not only our students, but also teachers and parents
I look forward to continuing the work with parents, teachers and students to strengthen the education and wellbeing of our students at this wonderful school next term.
