Please continue to schedule your child’s in catchment enrolment interview. These interviews are booked through SOBS, the online platform for all participation registration. Out of catchment enrolment communication will commence by next week. Current interview availability for in catchment enrolments:

Over the next 2 weeks students will be discussing savouring success and small wins. Savouring can take many different forms including standing barefoot on the beach and appreciating the salty sea air and the sound of crashing waves; sense of pride you feel when you accomplish something like a piece of writing, doing well in a sporting event, or helping another person learn something new; reminiscing about experiences by looking at photos or videos. All these experiences can intensify and prolong positive emotions. Savouring is a skill each of us can learn.

Classes will move to focussing further on resilience. It is common to think about big achievements, or times when a person has overcome a challenge to achieve a goal. These moments can feel very affirming, but they do not happen every day. This is why it is important to explore daily instances, choices, and actions that represent resilience. A key message is that we can build our resilience over time. We increase our resilience through consistent practise.
